Privacy
WAVES Kompass is run by D3 Digital Media. This page explains what the assessment stores, why, and how to have it deleted.
What we collect
When you unlock your scorecard we save your name, work email, company, role and industry, your 20 ratings, and the scores calculated from them.
If you arrived through a tracked link, we also save its source, medium and campaign tags.
To limit repeat submissions we keep a hashed form of your network address. We do not store the address itself.
We also count anonymous steps through the assessment, such as starting or reaching the form. These counts hold no personal data and no answers.
Why we collect it
We use it to build and show your scorecard, to email you a copy, and for D3 Digital Media to follow up with you about your results.
What stays on your device
While you answer, your in-progress ratings and your light or dark theme choice are kept in your browser storage so you can come back later. This never includes your contact details.
Your answers leave your device only when you unlock your scorecard.
Your results link is private
Your scorecard lives at an unguessable link. It is not listed, search engines are asked not to index it, and we do not share it. Anyone who has the link can open the scorecard, so share it only with people you trust.
Who processes your data
Your details are stored in the WAVES Kompass database and passed to D3 Digital Media's CRM and email system so we can send your results and follow up.
Cloudflare Turnstile checks submissions for spam.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your scorecard and contact record so your results link keeps working.
Email don@d3digitalmedia.com to delete your data.
